Few visitors took notice of Miriam Sturzenneger’s performance at MoMA PS1. The artist, who published her first artist’s book The Fog is a Light Darkness, repeated the ordinary action of washing a wall with water from top to bottom. Her pamphlet Filter of Time / A Translation. was designed as an extension of her performance, and an update to her first body of work.
