Le livre nous permet un accès sculptural aux dessins comme à une pensée qui surgit du matériau. Dans les méandres d’un parcours des installations aux dessins dans les carnets, nous cherchons à trouver des repères dans les zones fragiles entre le vide, les traces et la figuration.

In a nearly existential way, Miriam Sturzenegger looks into the nature and perception of drawing. Der Nebel ist ein helles Dunkel/The Fog is a Light Darkness
focuses the exchange and merging of paper and walls which constitute her installations. The book allows us a sculptural approach to drawing as a thinking that emerges from the material. In the meandering course from the installations to the drawings in books, we try to find points of reference in the fragile zones between the void, traces and figuration.
Five copies feature a woodcase (wood, plaster, white paint), signed and numbered by Miriam Sturzenegger(price on application).
